Traffic Capacity and Frequency Planning The frequency plan for an AMPS, TDMA, or GSM system plays a specific role in determining the maximum per site capacity. In the chart, as we increase our frequency re-use by lowering the K value, we gain more capacity in terms of Calls/Channel and Customers/Cell.
