As you have no doubt noticed, everything an RF Design Engineer does - from choosing an antenna to developing a frequency plan - is tightly interwoven. This is especially true of traffic engineering and frequency planning.

  1. Calculate traffic intensity using calling rate and holding time.

  2. Determine the traffic capacity for a specific amount of blocking given the number of available channels,

  3. Indicate how creating more sectors affects the number of trunks needed
